Thank you to all of our Race participants, volunteers and sponsors who helped to make the 2013 Komen Mid-Michigan Race for the Cure a success! The 2013 Race had over 4500 runners and walkers and nearly 300 volunteers.

Remember, Race participants have until May 31st to continue fundraising to earn great rewards. NOTE: Playmakers giftcards will be mailed out the first week of June and $1000 fundraisers will be contacted to confirm jacket size.
You don’t need to be a fundraising expert to be successful at it – you just need the desire to stand up to breast cancer and make a difference. Thanks to people like you, in 2012 the Komen Mid-Michigan Affiliate was able to fund more than $454,000 for education, screening and survivorship services in Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Jackson, Livingston, Shiawassee, and Washtenaw counties.
Just Imagine the IMPACT - If every Race participant raises just $100 in addition to their registration fee, we would bring in $500,000 to support local screening, treatment and educational programs in our community, and an additional $175,000 for national breast cancer research! Together, we can save lives!

Additionally, we have some great prizes for our TOP fundraisers as of May 31st:
American Airline/American Eagle Ticket: Once American Airlines round-trip ticket will be awarded to each of the top two individual fundraisers. Round-trip air transportation on American Airlines or American Eagle to any destination in the contiguous U.S. (Limit 1 ticket per household).
Day of Relaxation: A day of pampering and relaxation will be awarded to the 3rd and 4th place top fundraisers courtesy of Douglas J Day Spa Salon in Okemos.
Top Fundraising Survivor: A day of pampering and relaxation at Douglas J Day Spa Salon will also be awarded to the breast cancer survivor with the most fundraising dollars.
